After midnight

Late night casinos and getting home

A late night in Vancouver comes down to two questions: is the casino actually open, and how do you get home once the trains stop. This page covers both, including the details that are not published.

01What is open late

Parq Casino never shuts, staying open day and night on all seven days. Up on Level 3, where the escalators end, the poker room is also open 24/7. One wrinkle: the table games page notes "Open daily from 7PM" in its roulette and touch bet terminal section, without saying which games it covers. Holiday hours are not published.

The on-site parkade is open 24 hours and is paid at all times. On non-event days, Parq's parking page lists a $15 flat rate from midnight to 5 AM, and says rates may change with demand.

Hastings Casino opens at 11AM every day. The doors shut at 2AM on Friday and Saturday, and at midnight on the other nights, Sunday to Thursday. It is not open 24 hours, so it is not an all-night option.

Holiday hours are not published, and neither are hours for the lounge and food outlets. For anything unusual, call 604-254-1631 or check Hastings Casino's own page. Live racing ended in December 2025, so there are no race days to plan around.

02When SkyTrain stops

We could not confirm last-train times from Stadium-Chinatown or Yaletown-Roundhouse, so check TransLink on the night.

Yaletown-Roundhouse Station (Canada Line) is 800 m from Parq, and Stadium-Chinatown Station (Expo Line) is 850 m away. Hastings Park has no SkyTrain station within walking distance. Walking routes and daytime connections are on By SkyTrain and bus.

04From Parq and from Hastings Park

From Parq: the N15 NightBus has a stop at Smithe St and Expo Blvd, roughly 120 m away as the crow flies. Other NightBus routes leave from the downtown area around Howe, Seymour and Granville, so check a trip planner before you leave.

From Hastings Park: the N35 runs along Hastings St. Third-party schedule data shows it stopping at E Hastings St @ Renfrew St in the early hours. TransLink's own stop list for that stop was not confirmed, so check translink.ca.

05Taxis and rideshare

Parq says rideshare and taxis are available outside the casino. It can help to book a ride before you leave the building. If there is a game or concert downtown, expect demand to spike at the same hour you want to leave. Game day downtown covers that.

06Set a time limit as well as a money limit

Late sessions have a way of blurring. Decide on a leaving time when you arrive, the same way you decide on a budget, and let the last NightBus or a booked ride hold you to it. Every BC casino has a GameSense Info Centre with staff who can help.

If the hours are getting away from you, Gambling Support BC is free and runs 24/7 at 1-888-795-6111. More options are on Support and at gamblingsupportbc.ca. Entry to BC casinos is 19+.
